Education Express - LCA Training

The Lighting Controls Association (LCA), and founding member Lightolier® Controls, are proud to announce Education Express, a free online distance-education program.  Education Express provides in-depth education about lighting controls, control systems, controllable ballast technology, system design, and commissioning.

Authored by Craig DiLouie, Education Express consists of three courses - EE101: Introduction to Lighting Control; EE102: Switching Control; and EE103: Fluorescent Dimming. 

Education Express learning modules are currently accredited by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) for their Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) certification program, accredited with the International Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO) for their CLMC certification program, and registered with NCQLP, enabling participants to learn LEUs for LC certification maintenance.

The Lighting Controls Association is administered by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, headquartered in Rosslyn, VA.  LCA was founded to provide education about lighting energy management and control technology via its web site, which contains Education Express, white papers, articles, research, products, projects and a public forum.
