 The Capio Plus IGBT Dimmer Rack provides the dimmer technology, performance, and energy-efficient advantages for the Lytemode System in an economical high-density rack. The standard 48-module rack accommodates up to 96 20A dimmers or 48 50A dimmers, for smaller applications select  the half rack which provides 24-modules (48 circuits). Additionally, all Capio Plus Dimmers Racks may be bused together for larger venues. A locking front door contains air inlet filters and prevents unauthorized access. High Performance Dual 20A Dimmer with 800 microseconds (μs) transition time and LOW HARM capability are standard. Each dimmer incorporates a microprocessor and two Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs). The microprocessor adjusts voltage and current in response to changes detected in the load and the electrical service. These adjustments suppress surges, protect against dead shorts, and can extend lamp life. IGBT dimmers offer quieter lamp operation, higher operating efficiency and less waste heat than SCR-based dimmers. High Performance dimmer  modules can even reduce harmonic neutral currents, making Capio Plus the most efficient rack dimming system available. IGBT solid-state dimmers provide customer savings through lowered electrical costs, increased lamp life, and minimal wasted energy*.

In addition to using industry-standard DMX512 control protocol, Capio Plus racks can also use TCP/IP to become part of an Ethernet control network with one or more consoles or other DMX sources.
