IntelliSight® Ceiling Occupancy Sensors
» View Tech Information

Through a thoughtful design utilizing multiple detection technologies, IntelliSight® Occupancy Sensors are the first true sensors with the intelligence to discern between actual human occupancy and the simple movement of inanimate objects, thereby giving you the true energy savings you desire.

And with user-friendly features such as automatic calibration, automatic shut-off, and a greatly extended sensing range, it is easy to see why IntelliSight® Occupancy Sensors are unlike any sensor that exists today.

Included on this page is information for the following products:

IntelliSight® Ceiling Sensors

The IntelliSight® Low-Voltage Ceiling Occupancy Sensors are multi-technology occupancy sensing low-voltage devices that are designed for use with one or more IntelliSight® System Power Packs. Each unit provides automatic on/off, or manual on, operations using a wall-mounted switch. Up to eight sensors can be used with each power pack, and up to two power packs can be controlled by one sensor. A combination of both wall and ceiling-mounted sensors may be used.

The ITSCS ceiling sensor meets the needs for all common occupancy detection applications such as individual and open office spaces, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and more. The ITCSHB sensor is specifically designed for high-bay (or high ceiling) jobs such as warehouses, gymnasiums, atriums, retail spaces, parking garages, etc.

And for your convenience, all IntelliSight® Ceiling Sensors are easily and safely programmed from the ground via an infrared hand-held programming unit.

Features:

  • Low-profile and attractive designer styling which complements any space with elegant lines and great looks.
  • Multiple technologies improve sensitivity and decrease false triggering creating a user-friendly and custom device without creating complexity.
  • Intelligent self-learning mode which continuously monitors space and occupancy patterns to self-adjust for maximum energy savings and user comfort.
  • Adjustable time-out period from 1 to 30 minutes.
  • User-configurable sensor sensitivity setting to tailor switch to unusual spaces.
  • Ambient light override which monitors ambient light levels to prevent switch from turning on if ambient light is above a certain level.
  • LED indicator illuminates when movement is detected.
  • Unobtrusive, reinforced lens with minimal protrusion from the ceiling.
  • Energy efficiency and savings resulting from the lights automatically turning off when the space is vacant and the time-out period has elapsed.
  • Simple set up procedures with easily accessible sensitivity and photocell controls.
  • Mode selection which allows the user to select either an automatic or manual "on" command.
  • Two distinct models for all ceiling-mounted occupancy sensor needs - for low and high ceiling applications.
  • Simplified commissioning - user-friendly infrared programming unit (sold separately) to make programming easy and simple without the use of ladders or tools.

IntelliSight® Relay Power Packs

The IntelliSight® Universal Voltage Relay Power Packs come in 1, 2, and 4 relay configurations and operate with IntelliSight® low-voltage ceiling and wall-mounted occupancy, and photocell (daylight harvesting) sensors. Each relay power pack is industrial-rated to handle incandescent, as well as all types of ballast loads. Each unit is UL listed to United States and Canadian safety standards for operation in both 120V and 277V applications.

IntelliSight® relay power packs employ high-current relays to operate with occupancy or daylight harvesting applications. When the IntelliSight® occupancy sensors detect motion or the photocell sensors detect an inadequate light level, they communicate with the relay pack to control their loads accordingly.

Each IntelliSight® relay power pack supports up to eight sensors. A combination of both wall and ceiling-mounted sensors may be used to meet virtually any installation and to comply with today's energy initiatives.

Features:

  • Energy saving capabilities - lights automatically turn off when the room or space is vacant (occupancy) or prevents the lights from turning on when mbient light is detected (daylight harvesting) or both.
  • Simple, user-friendly set up - configuration set-up via IntelliSight® low voltage occupancy or photocell sensors - no switches to set on relay packs.
  • Available in three distinct models - 1, 2 or 4 relay configurations.
  • LED indicator - light glows when the unit is operational and blinks when triggered by sensors.
  • Heavy-duty construction - device is encased in a steel electrical junction box measuring 4" x 4" x 2-1/4" (for the ITSRP1U and ITSRP2U) and 4-11/16" x 4-11/16" x 2-1/4" (for the ITSRP4U).
  • Low-voltage isolation - wiring of this unit requires no additional box.
  • For occupancy sensor applications (when used with the ITSCS Ceiling Occupancy Sensor - sold separately):
    • Mode selection: allows the user to select either an automatic on, or manual on, commands or both.
    • Works with IntelliSight® ceiling and wall-mounted sensors that offer intelligent self-adjustment modes which continuously monitor space and occupancy patterns to self-adjust to the most efficient control of the monitored space.
    • Adjustable time-out period from 1 to 30 minutes via the sensor.
    • User-configurable sensor sensitivity settings to tailor switch to unusual spaces.
    • Energy efficiency and savings resulting from the lights automatically turning off when the space is vacant and the time-out period has elapsed.
  • For photocell sensor applications (when used with the ITSPCS Ceiling Photocell Daylighting Sensor - sold separately):
    • Mode selection: allows the user to select and set the ambient light level to turn on loads for aggressive energy conservation.
